I drove all the way from Ventura (past many restaurants offering BBQ Tri-Tip) but I’m glad I made the trek. I’ll be back to Best BBQ in Santa Paula because the portions are larger than any other restaurant in Ventura, fast and friendly service and the food tasted real good. I had the Tri-Tip Dinner add Hot Link. I think on my return visit I’ll order a Tri-Tip bowl.

I enjoyed their tri-tip sandwich with hot links and also their potato salad. This was recommended by a friend and it definitely was good. If you like bbq you should also give It’s in the Sauce in Oxnard.

Did I die and go to the Heavens of the meats if so then don’t bring me back. They killed the beef Ribs and the Tri-tip was perfect. I had to get another sauce cause I think I may have to spread that greatness on other stuff later. Come on down this crew has gots the meats.

I’m sure there are plenty of folks who CLAIM to have the best BBQ, but this place tells no lies! After getting the recommendation from a coworker, we made the 40 minute drive only to be met with arguably the best BBQ we’ve ever had the pleasure of eating (and we have tried A LOT). I cannot pick the best thing because we tried the 4-meat combo with chicken, beef rib, tri-tip, and hot link, and all of it was out of this world. Coleslaw, potatoe salad, macaroni salad were amazing. We even had the cheesecake to finish it off and it was such a good idea. Go here the next time you want delicious food, you won’t be disappointed!

Really good BBQ! I like the bowl with rice options. I got the hot links bowl with veggies, others got the tri-tip bowl with beans, and my husband got a tri-tip sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their food. My vegetables were cooked great instead of under of overcooked. The hot sauce was no joke on being hot! My only caveat was the garlic bread wasn’t as garlicky as I would have liked. You also get big portions for the price!

I was passing thru town and happen to smell the smoke from the pit, and had to pull over and try the BBQ. They didn’t disappoint. Food was amazing and I had the 3 meat bowl over beans and rice. Will for sure make a point to stop over here next time I’m going up the 126. Gotta try more of the food choices here.
