Similar to the other location on Pleasant Hill, this location is also a food court style dining located in City Market. You order first, then sit. The sitting space is more limited but we still managed to get a table during Saturday lunch rush. Sauce, utensils, and drinks are self-serve.

Big portions – and it’s not just a bunch of rice with two pieces of meat. I had the tofu and veggies and my boyfriend had the BBQ combo rice with all 3 meats. We also split some dim sum shrimp dumplings, shumai, and stuffed tofu. It was all full of flavor. We went back just a couple of days later to get more. We took ours to go but there was plenty of seating.

Looks like the quality of their noodle soup has gone down. I ordered duck and wonton noodle soup. The wonton tasted great, but the duck was a small drumstick sliced up in thin pieces with no substantial meat on it and was soaked into the noodle broth, losing all its flavor. In the past, the noodle broth was very tasty, but it was bland today.

The dim sum and Cantonese BBQ at this restaurant are delicious. The dim sum selection was vast. Highly recommend trying the shrimp stuffed eggplant and stuffed tofu skin!!

One of my favorite places for Dim Sum and beef chow fun. Their seafood pan fried noodle is excellent. BBQ meats are not bad. 2 thumbs up!

Look no further than Best BBQ for the best authentic Cantonese style restaurant around, it’s in their name after all, albeit BBQ is not what you’d expect. Dim sum is available around the clock, made per order just like in Hong Kong. If you’re looking for a fancy place to impress a date, this ain’t it. If you’re looking for someone to explain what exactly is in a certain dish or if they have vegan options or brown rice, this ain’t it. What it is, is a fantastic place to re-imagine what it was to travel to the far east where people speak in a different language you don’t understand, and just enjoy the bustling of chefs making really good Chinese food. The pictures on the wall are for you to be a little adventurous and to give something new a try. America needs more local mom and pop places like this to bring the best cultural experience back.

Best bbq is one of the best eateries around here. It’s a “food court” style dining experience. You order at the cashier, and wait to collect your food.

The food is delicious and generous portion. But to get the best BBQ, order the honey BBQ separately not as a meal with noodles. We made a mistake of ordering N27 and N25 I believe. We went to this place coz I’m craving for BBQ like I used to eat in HK.

We’ve ordered char-sui, duck, soy sauce chicken and rice boxes all to go and their quality is good but slightly more pricey than other bbq places. Their rice boxes are normal priced but alittle different, it actually comes with a side soup which we really liked. The green beans were not good though, I wish they would opt for a more leafy green but nonetheless the char-sui is really good here. Haven’t tried their dim sum yet but I do hear it’s very good so we’ll have to try that soon.

No nonsense, counter service BBQ, dim sum, and various Chinese dishes restaurant. Most of their orders are takeaways, but they do have a good size area to sit down and eat if you’re in a hurry. So far, I have only ordered dim sum here and they are so good; the portion is decent too. Will definitely try other dishes soon.
