My boyfriend and I ate the buffet there. The food was exquisite and the service was amazingly friendly. Comfort food with a Caribbean feel and super affordable. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Support our Black-Owned Businesses!! On 7-6-2018, I stumbled upon Best Carribbean Cuisine while looking for a “Real Food” restaurant after finishing work. Sooo happy I found this place! This is a cute little restaurant on Hodgson Memorial at Eisenhower. Their hours of operation are first lunch, then they close to prepare their dinner buffet; then re-open later around 5-ish for the dinner shift.

The people were very nice and I appreciated them being open on Sunday. That’s all I have good to say. Because those things don’t truly matter if the food sucks! It was my 1st time so I went with what I thought was the safe choice, I got the jerk chicken (white meat) with white rice and cabbage. It was horrible I did everything I could to fix the chicken but whatever horrible seasoning they put on it over powered all of my attempts at re-seasoning! The cabbage was extremely bland on the other hand which made for an easy fix because nothing was on it. So anything helped. I don’t like having to add things to my food. Also You have to call ahead and put in a large order of beef patties, otherwise they won’t make them. I was very disappointed! Guess I’ll stick with Sweet Spice, they’re good and much better than this place!

Absolutely wonderful food, the buffet was fantastic . Seasoned perfectly and didn’t require anything but your fork! The sweet tea was amazing. Most importantly the customer service was A+. The staff took excellent care if us from entry to departure. Highly recommend you try this wonderful hidden gem.

I ate here on a whim and was very pleased. They provided outside seating but frequently checked on my group of 3 to ensure we were doing okay. The staff was friendly and jovial.

We eat here often and always have a wonderful experience. The owner always welcomes us warmly and remembers our faces when we arrive. The food is consistently delicious, the team is so accommodating and the atmosphere is authentic. We are never disappointed and leave very satisfied. Thank you.

Food was excellent. Service was great. Family friendly. Everyone made us feel welcomed and at home. Their all you can eat buffet was a great deal. I usually stay away from buffets since they are usually free for all’s but here there is one person who serves the guest. If you are in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by.

Nice people. Good cabbage, good plantains. But 2 stars because the jerk chicken was old so they deep fried it and covered it in sauce so you couldn’t tell until you TRIED to bite it.The meat was clear like it had been sun dried. I threw it away. My first time going, my last time going.

I really like this place. The food is great. The food is fresh and hot. It makes me laugh, I think back when I was a young boy, i had to blow my food before i put it in my mouth because it was so hot. That’s a great thing for me to experience a good hot meal. And that Mango juice is awesome.

Order from the menu or try the small buffet (on Fridays get fried fish & shrimp). Excellent oxtail stew, stewed turkey wing and fried shrimp (large, plump, tender). They tend to run out if items, like desserts, so get there early. 8.95 for all u can eat lunch buffet, 11.95 dinner buffet– you don’t serve yourself, just point out what you like.
