UPDATE: For some unexplainable reason, our visit to Best Hong Kong Dining last night was a horrible experience! This was our “go-to place” but the food served was dreadful! We ordered the roasted pork which was sloppily dropped off on a plate that was full of grease (see photo). The pork was dry, the pork skin was hard and not traditionally crispy, the taste was like it was seasoned with 5 spice and pepper only, and the meat was dry similar to how meat is when under a heat lamp for hours. The fish fillet with black bean sauce was okay but the fish was soggy like it was just defrosted. Our fried tofu with brown sauce was dry and lacked adequate sauce to accompany the tofu and veggies. Finally, and this may be trivial, but our Oolong tea had an unusual taste, maybe because it could have been a low-quality brand. We spoke to the manager about the roasted pork about the grease and she indicated that this was a sauce and was normal. I didn’t want to argue with her but I have NEVER seen roasted pork with sauce poured onto it. It defeats the purpose of having crispy pork skin if you pour a liquid on it as it will make the skin soggy. I was raised on HK food and having someone explain to me with a straight face that the “sauce is normal” on roasted pork was almost unbelievable. Being diplomatic, I said, “the cook was just having a bad day.” I will never dine there again.

Yum! Living in a city with many food selections its hard to find one that is truly delicious; well we definitely hit the hot pot with this one! We ordered a little bit of everything from the menu and we were not disappointed in any of it! The flavors and not to mention the presentation of everything was super yummy!! Please don’t skip out on this place and DONT FORGET TO TRY THE DUCK! amazing owners and even better food, what more can be asked for?

A hidden Gem! Not a fancy place but I finally found a restaurant that knows how to make shrimp with lobster sauce and their Mongolian beef is perfect tender beef correct amount of spiciness and scallions BBQ ribs really tasty too! I’ll drive here from Scottsdale 22 minutes for reasonable prices and authentic Chinese food every time you will not be disappointed lots of variety on the menu too! Just don’t order pork lomein you won’t get lo mein noodles or variety of vegetables only a soup with chow mein noodles and napa cabbage first disappointing thing I’ve eaten here.

Best Chinese food I’ve had in AZ. Everything is authentic and price is reasonable. Even the smaller rice plates they give a good amount of food especially for $10, $11, $12. None of this inflation price hike like every other business. Spoke to the owner and she is very friendly and welcoming.

There was only 1 server, it was reasonably busy, it took a long wait before the waitress can come to take our order. If you are hungry, go somewhere else, seriously. The food is okay, not bad, not “best” either. The shrimp dish is bland (but my photo makes it look good, so, blames are accepted, it only means you must always read the book not the cover ), the iron plate steak fry with veggies is not sizzling, so it’s like aleight. And the beef stew? The flavor is good, but I would say, bring some toothpick/floss if that’s what you want, and you are welcome .
