We got there 20 minutes before close and offered to take the food to go so we didn’t keep the staff late. They assured us it wasn’t a problem to stay and eat. We got the 9 piece chicken, which came with 2 sides and 6 rolls. We also got large fries. The chicken came in a box and each of us got a plate and personal cups of the sides. The fries came in a huge box which we weren’t able to finish. My mom swears this is the best potato salad she’s ever had! Everyone there was super nice and so happy to hear we thought it was delicious.

Had the pleasure of having dinner at this amazing restaurant. It was was a great experience from the time we walked in the door. Greeted with a smile and the service was wonderful. We had the small shrimp dinner with okra and potato salad. Seasoned to perfection, served hot, and you could taste the freshness. Met the owner and his lovely wife. Thank you both for serving hot fresh great tasting food at an excellent $$

Worth the Trip! Good Food, Great Service, Amazing people and Prices. Me and the Wife took a trip to see what all the fuss was about and it was worth it. I had the Shrimp plate with a chicken leg on the side with Okra and Potato Salad. Wifey loved the fish plate with collard greens and Okra. The food was so good we ended up getting Fish sandwiches and collards to go! I definitely will be back again!

My family and I make sure to make a trip here any time we’re in town! The food is DELICIOUS and the customer service is above and beyond! The staff is very personable and remembers their customers when they come back. It’s nice to feel valued as a customer, especially when customer service isn’t what it used to be.
