We are a Mid-Century/Retro Burger Diner, serving Smash Burgers on fresh baked locally sourced burger buns, thick milk shakes, fries, onion rings, sodas, and salads. We even have a meatless burger option for all of the vegetarian customers. Diner style décor with hand painted murals, a jukebox and mid-century décor. We are currently located in Puck’s Alley, very close to University of Hawaii, and right next door to Study Hall Sports Bar and Grill (our sister restaurant/bar). Free validated parking on site.

I go to Betty’s a looooot. Every week or 2 for the past 3 years. In the past month or so orders gone down hill. The fries. Come on guys…2 orders ago I was given literally 15 French fries as a large. It was to go so I didn’t go back to get more but the meal was a let down.

This place has so much charm and incredible food at an insanely reasonable price. The buns were delicious and learned they are locally made. I will need to go back for a shake but the burgers, fries and chicken sandwich were top notch after a long flight to Honolulu.

My fiancée and I found this place while looking for a vegan burger for her and absolutely loved the food here. I got a double lettuce wrap regular burger for myself and it was fantastic. The service was very good with the chef coming out to make sure what we wanted and they even gave us free onion rings since they were out of fries. I was very surprised and impressed and would highly recommend if you’re in the area looking for a great burger.

We order two different burgers (#13 and #3), we also had an order of large fries and Oreo milkshake. The fries and the milkshake were very good but honestly speaking I think that the burgers were very plain in flavor. There was nothing on the burgers that made me want to go back and order them again, however, the Orea milkshake was one of the best ones I’ve had. The two ladies that serviced us were pretty nice and the location itself has a friendly vibe to it. Overall I think the flavor of the burgers can get better but I am open to trying other burgers next time and see if it changes.

The place has a nice vibe, try to seat outside. The smoke inside it’s too much. The food it’s good we had the Teriyaki burger and the bacon and blue cheese. Very good and soft bread. If you need mayonnaise for your fries they charge you extra so make sure you ask for it when you are placing the order.

Found this place while on a family vacation. We were actually headed to the aquarium and wanted to grab something quick to eat before going into the aquarium. Just our luck, they had a food truck setup right by the entrance. Wow, the burgers were great! I’m usually not a fan of smashburgers, but these were juicy and very flavorful. The buns also had a nice crispness too!

After ordering $80 worth of food and leaving two tips, one electronically and one left inadvertently in cash , 40 percent tip, the two out of 4 orders were not what was ordered. The server was argumentative about one burger and the contents, insisting that a missing ingredient was in fact in the burger. The second burger came with an ingredient that I said I was allergic to. When it came to me, I could taste and see the ingredient, and when I mentioned it, I got a blank stare. Obviously her first job, no common sense. I had to direct her to take back the burger and order another that was correct. The side dishes were mixed up and we were told just to trade amongst ourselves.
