Came here for the 1st time on a Monday, we came here before heading up to go fishing at Strawberry Bay Marina we’ve had a wonderful experience we’d never knew it was there before, but I researched restraunts that serve breakfast that open early in Heber it’s very easy to find with convenient access, and now it’s our favorite go to place for breakfast, we absolutely love it love the decor the atmosphere great staff excellent cook ( Ogee ) my husband and I both had the ham steak and eggs great big portions ham was so good ,hash browns and eggs were perfect, I was a waitress in SLC for 39 years retired now, our first server was Jossie she was cute, great service checked on us all the time, it was a busy morning too since the first time we came in we’ve been back 4 more + time’s, Kelly’s waited on us also a very lovely person great personality,& personable great repore with customers, then Izzy waited on us, same as the other server’s just great servers they do a great job I highly recommend Betty’s Cafe we’ll definitely be back every morning before we go fishing, we’d come back after fishing, for lunch or dinner, but they close at 3pm

Friendly staff, fast seating. I ordered the Betty’s Breakfast. The description of that dish read “Ham Steak, Bacon or Sausage, & Eggs Hash Brown & Biscuit & Gravy. Our order took long to arrive it was a Sunday morning which is reasonable. When my plate arrived it just had Bacon Eggs and Hash browns. I asked my server I was missing the Ham Steak she said the menu is not that clear it’s suppose to be you pick one of the three meats. But we never were told that when we ordered. The server expressed they have told the owner to fix that description but he hasn’t. I was very disappointed. Our Coffee was cold. Our food really did not have flavor and it was very oily. Pancakes were delicious. My daughter ordered a cheeseburger with French fries, fried were over cooked.

I would’ve loved to leave a better review but after an hour and 35 minutes we walked out. So we don’t know how the food was. Waitress were not attentive or concerned about us as customers, menu’s were filthy. Cook had long shaggy hair and very dirty clothes. At least 3 other couples walked out and we followed suit. I MIGHT try it again, hopefully management steps it up for the experience we thought we would get from a small town cafe.

This place was absolutely amazing! A perfect place to grab a quick breakfast in a quiet country setting. The decor here is amazing and provides a very pleasant ambience like you are eating breakfast at your grandmothers farm house. The service here was very good and our food was exceptional with generous portions.

First time at Betty’s. Arrived at 9:45 on a Saturday morning. We were the only ones waiting. Were told it would be 20 minutes to be seated. 30 minutes later we asked and were told they were trying to get two tables near each other for our party of 6. A round table in the corner that would accommodate all of us was sitting empty. We asked if we could sit there. 3 of the 6 of us were 8 and under. Finally sat us at that table. 15 minutes later Order was taken. A couple came in 20 minutes later sat immediately (it was just two of them) 10 minutes later they get their food. Why was their food even put on the grill before mine?

Disappointing. Country fried steak was so tough it was inedible. Had to send back but they would not comp it – only gave a small discount. Betty’s skillet was alright but the pork chop was small and bone-in. Very little meat on the bone. There are much better options in town.

If I could give no stars I would !! Came to this diner for breakfast and at first we got seated real quick which was great. Then it took nearly 15 min to get a waiter to ask for drinks when we were seating at the bar being past by 18 times by the waiters. Then we made our order for drinks and the drinks had no syrup or carbonation and one of the waiters tasted it and said there is nothing wrong with the drinks which was false. We waited nearly an hour for our food which I’m sure the waitress never put the order in till after 15 20 min after we ordered. we saw people that came in 15 to 20 minutes after us getting their food first. Our food was subpar as well I asked for a medium steak and I got a burnt to a crisp steak. I’ve never had such a bad experience in a place like this. If you want good service or food your better off at McDonald’s down the road. Will never come back here.

We visited on a busy Sunday morning. Our wait wasn’t horribly long (5 to 10 minutes). The staff we spoke to was pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant itself is full of family and local history. It was a super cute place! The food was PHENOMENAL. Definitely worth the wait. I kept eating even after I was full because it was too good to waste.
