Best place for cod, prawns were delicious too. I’ve been to a lot of restaurants (see my post). Betty’s has the best cod I’ve ever had. Cod was fresh and tasty not sure whaat kind of batter or the oil they use bit its not typical. Hard to describe the taste, you should definitely try it. Pricey but it’s worth it.

Betty’s fish and chips is a great find and an excellent place to eat. I found it while on a work trip to Santa Rosa and it didn’t disappoint. The service was great as it’s quick and efficient, and the waitress was helpful and friendly too. On top of that the place is super clean.

In my humble opinion, this is one of the best fish ‘n’ chips restaurants on this side of the pond! This place had been there since 1956! I’ve driven by this place for some 30+ years and, shamefully, I had never paid attention to the existence of this place! Its is a small place with a very cute and boutique feeling to it! I’ll definitely be visiting this place often! The portions were large and the cod was fresh!

It’s still pretty good food but it has gotten very pricey. I do know things have gone up but it’s gotten to the point where it’s just not worth going to get fish and chips here anymore The price is way too high and I would rather make my own. It’s too bad because there’s not any other good fish and chip places around. I’ve been going to Betty’s for 38 years. If you’re not worried about the price that’s still the place to go.

We had the mozzarella sticks and 5 piece fish and chips plate. Plenty of food for two adults and hungry toddler. Highly recommend visiting. The staff was very friendly and patient with our kid, which was very appreciated.

3 of us dined in and ordered 2 fish and chips and a crab salad. I personally found the prices to be absurd especially the salad, at $25 for maybe 1 tiny ounce scoop of crab(even tho crab was literally 2.99# at that time). Both F&C came with uncooked batter and we where told there was no cocktail sauce(I assume it was a fluke..). 20 more mins of driving but back to the Boat House I guess…

Come with an empty stomach! We made the mistake of having had a late lunch and wanting to squeeze Betty’s “before dinner”. THIS WAS DINNER. And let me tell you, some of the BEST Fish n Chips I’ve ever had. Visit Betty’s if you’re in Sonoma!
