I heard about this place from my church members. They raved about how good the food was here. I was not disappointed. The only take away I can think of is the wait time. I got to the counter to order at 1:33 and didn’t get my food for like 45 min. The food was worth it however. I got the $13 Sunday Only special. I requested the fried chicken wings, candied yams, and Mac and cheese. The wings were a very good size and the batter was very good and seasoned. The candied yams were sweet and tender, and the Mac and cheese was very creamy with lots of cheese. I will definitely come back. This place needs more advertising. I would not have heard about it if it wasn’t for church members talking about it. Maybe church bulletins sent out would be great for business. Good food. This is a take out only restaurant. Order ahead if you can!

You only get 5 stars when you’re amazing and that’s precisely what Beulah Mae’s is. The food is so good and the people are so nice. Great place. Get there early because it’s obviously known for being great by the amount of people coming in.

I travel to this place from Hoover Alabama where I live and made it there about 5 minutes after it’s open then wound up not getting anything I was told the grease is not hot yet so they can’t serve any food I was very disappointed I don’t think I’ll ever be visiting this place again could have been nice to see the reviews were nice I hate to give a derogatory one but just have to be honest sorry
