The food was fantastic! We shared a Birria Quesadilla and it was plenty for two, well seasoned, and truly some of the tastiest food we’ve had in the Phoenix area. Service was good and the atmosphere was fun. I’m only giving 3 stars because they added a 22% gratuity during the 7 PM hour, for a 2 top, which was rude. I have plenty of grace for challenges in restaurant work and our order was forgotten for about 15 min. Our server felt badly and we didn’t mind waiting, but we did want to order food…but she walked away before we could. If you’re going to automatically add gratuity, especially over 20%, the service better be outstanding. This service was fine and I might have voluntarily tipped even more if given the opportunity. I certainly would be leaving a better review.

This place was so much fun! Went in for a drink around midnight on a Friday and ended up staying for a while watching music videos and dancing. There were several tables to set my drink down on and stand by, that’s a plus in my book especially because it was quite crowded. The music videos were honestly the best part, so many I’d never even seen. They played mostly hip hop music and played the music videos to match. When the songs mashed up so did the videos, I thought that was pretty awesome.

Old town bars are all the same. Everyone thinks they’re great and treats people like nobody’s. Came to bevvy and had service from the bartender with the tattoos I think Matt? He was so busy he didn’t even have time to entertain any of me and my lady friends but his service was exceptional. Will come back just to see him again.

Overall it’s fine. Ordered one of the large drinks and didn’t come with ducks. Also, not much for $55. Staff seemed distracted always and had to go hunt down our waitress in order to place food order, get check, etc. It was a noon on a Friday so not sure why the service was struggling so much. Wasn’t busy.

Bevy has always been my favorite bar in old town because they always have the BEST music (and don’t live and die on the EDM/house music hill). We went tonight for my bachelorette and I believe her name was Cass, was the absolute best. She’s adorable and so good at her job. It just made our whole night that much better. We shouldn’t have left when we did because we were spoiled getting to have her taking care of us. I always go to Bevy when I’m in old town, and that will never change as long as she’s there!

Table and booths were dirty-makeup and food between seats of booth. 3 of us ordered meals-mine came out over 20 minutes ahead of the others so mine was finished before theirs arrived. When I ask server where the other meals.were, she said “we bring the meals out whenever they’re ready, not all together”. Automatic gratitude was added for a party of 3, so I didn’t add the extra (in cash), that I normally give. Bathrooms were filthy. HOWEVER, our waitress was great.

The waitresses were dressed in lingerie, but the men were in t-shirts and jeans. Also noticed that a man would input orders into the POS system for the female servers. The place seemed misogynistic. The vibe sucked, too. Lame dance music and uninteresting people.

Went here for the first time last night and wasn’t too busy compared to other bars next door. Bartender saw us mutiple times and we waited over 15 minutes for her to serve us while she took a shot and talked to other people who she wasn’t serving. Went to a bar next door and got served right away and it was 10 times busier lol
