Excellent country diner. Friendly staff, friendly people nice choice of down home favorites. Daily special menu and very wallet friendly pricing. Has become a go to when working in Royse City. Thanks to the lady high school teacher who recommended it to me.

Disappointed. I took my mom here for her 80th birthday. She wanted fish and shrimp. I called ahead to confirm they had it. When we arrived they sat us in the back at a dirty table. I wiped the crumbs off with the menu. We ordered our meal, they were out of coleslaw. A little disappointed but alright, still had fish and shrimp. A few minutes later the waitress came back and said they were out of shrimp. I explained my disappointment and it’s my mom’s birthday. With no other choice we had only fish. It wasn’t bad. The fries were so greasy they were limp. But we ate, I didn’t want to cause a fuss so she could enjoy her time out. I had hoped they would had offered dessert, they were too busy wanting to leave for the day. I will probably give them another chance, just hope it is better next time.

Tried this local place not too far from my house and it didn’t disappoint! My wife and I went on a Friday night at about 6 and this place was pumping! Not a seat left in the place and and it was bigger than I thought! Definitely a local favorite in the area! We started off with the fried pickles and they did not disappoint! They were crunchy and breaded perfectly! I had the double bacon cheese burger with hand cut fries, the burger didn’t have a ton of flavor but it was good all around. The hand cut fries were good but not my favorite. My wife had the steak finger basket with curly fries and when I go back I’m getting the curly fries over the hand cut fries! Everything coming out of the kitchen looked good and they also had desserts but we didn’t get any. I would definitely go back and try their all day breakfast!

If you’re looking for a decent burger joint (and I mean joint), this is the place for you. It’s a very country (and I mean country) diner. Don’t come here thinking it’s anything else. The walls, tables, and floors are not always the cleanest, but the burgers are good. I’ve had a couple of the other items from their manu, which were lack-luster.

Food was great. And staff was friendly, but they kind of acted like I was lying when I told them that the coconut pie tasted ruined. The girl proceeded to tell me that they just got them Tuesday, so i would recommend checking your refrigerator then. I love coconut pie, so I can tell when it’s no good. They reluctantly replaced it. Other than that I still liked the restaurant and would still eat here again. The other food was great!

They did not disappoint. Better than average small town Cafe and small town cafes are great. It is a lot bigger that it looks like on the outside. Based on their breakfast, I need to return for lunch.

Went for the first time last weekend. It was priced so well! The food was decent, nothing super super wonderful but we got a lot of pretty good food for the price! Our server was really sweet and made sure our drinks were full and that we left with fresh ones. Would definitely be back to try breakfast soon!!!
