Bianca Restaurant & Bar Menu – Greenwich, CT

Type : Restaurant

Location : Greenwich, CT

Bianca Restaurant and Bar, a newcomer to the restaurant scene in Greenwich, has opened in a vibrant, intimate space at 30 Greenwich Avenue, serving a modern Italian menu with a twist — and with an emphasis on the cuisine of the Campania region and Naples.

That bustling city is where two of Bianca’s owners come from — Raffaele Ronca, its executive chef and a co-owner of Rafele Rye in Rye, N.Y., and Rosario Procino, the co-owner of Ribalta in Manhattan. They have opened the 55-seat Bianca with four of Mr. Ronca’s partners at Rafele Rye — Ann Mara Cacase and Tim Cacase, and Karin and David Kulsar.

Together they are bringing an authentic Italian flare with wonderful dishes and an inviting and jovial ambience to Greenwich.

Place was packed, which is usually a good sign. It was a lot smaller than I anticipated, but it was very comfortable. I found out soon after sitting down that the place was owned by real Napolitani and their intention was to bring tastes of real Italy to Greenwich. The cocktail list was small, but the Bianca signature drink with lychee was incredible. The espresso martini was great too! The food reminded me of my Italian family’s cooking which to me is not easy to find! I ordered the Paccheri Amatriciana because they use guanciale instead of bacon or pancetta like the true recipe calls for. It was to die for! All pasta is made in house! To finish the meal, we ended with ricotta pie. If you want authentic Italian food, you need to stop by Bianca.

Absolutely lovely place. Service was outstanding – could not have been better. Great outdoor seating. I would give the food 4.5 stars only because the cheesecake was oddly bitter – but everything else was wonderful. The vanilla gelato was possibly the best that I’ve ever had.

Great authentic Italian spot on Greenwich Avenue. They have high quality ingredients and good recipes. I specifically recommend their mushroom tagliatelle with shaved black truffle. In addition their also have a lot of drink choices and a bar seating with a nice vibe. We keep coming back to this restaurant again and again for its atmosphere and the quality of food and service!

First time in Greenwich. Gf and I stumbled into bianca. We had no reservations, but we were seated at a 3 person table in the front corner. The greeter (manager?) was a fast talker with an accent. Difficult to hear/understand. I had the tagletelli and gf had the pomodoro, after splitting the fried Barrata. All three dishes totaled around $75.00. Food was great. clearly it’s an expensive location. The environment was snug and loud. I’d go back if I was in the mood for pasta. If money isn’t a factor, you won’t be disappointed!

NEVER a disappointment! We just had the delicious Montanare (pizza fritta) and eggplant arancini, then we split Amatriciana and Cacio e Pepe –both phenomenal! Chicken and Steak were outstanding –perfectly seasoned and cooked. Homemade seasonal cherry gelato for dessert was fabulous! Drinks are always excellent!!! Kind, sharp staff and a great bartender! Chef Raffaele always delivers the best, authentic Italian food!

This was our first time at Bianca. They opened about a month ago. I wasn’t sure at first because there had been so many other restaurants that opened and closed in this spot. And let me say that I was happily surprised. We’ll go back again and again to try the rest of the menu. Lots of options for gluten free as well. The cheese cake was really good. Try the artichoke salad. It’s a great experience but make a reservation because it fills up fast.
