Upon entry I was extremely charmed with the interior. There is a mismatching furniture and a super cozy feel. I definitely see the tea inspiring the general aesthetic. I order a chai tea latte, it’s clear they use real chai leafs rather than concentrate. Outside seating is super convenient! The tea menu is so vast, I didn’t see a food menu but they do have food. Oatmeal is a must is only two dollars for a lot of it. Over all I think this is a perfect neighborhood cafe

Fresh syrups are used to make the summer specials!!! This fits with the total hedgewitch healer vibe of Biddle’s Escape. Not only can you pick up a drink or a snack, you get loose tea and spices here too. Surprisingly, you can buy the perfect candy dish or lamp for your house from the cool estate sale items that you can buy here. Come to the magical neighborhood of Regent Sqare Wilkinsburg and enjoy Biddle’s Escape!!! This is truly a very relaxing place in the daytime. In the evening, you may run into things like live music or open mic stuff.

My favorite cafe in all of Pittsburgh. I’ve been coming here since 2015 and it has been nothing but lovely. Always a great vibe with beautiful surroundings. Sometimes it’s tight on seating, especially since they closed the upstairs a few years ago, but I take it as a testament to how well they’re doing.

I get that people love the vibe of this place but the food and coffee beverages are revolting so if that’s what you’re going for… don’t. We got a cold brew and a cappuccino and they were both acidic to the point of being undrinkable. We also ordered a couple of pastries. I have never in my life bit into something so stale. It was like leather and it tasted bad too. We threw everything away and will not be returning because we don’t like to eat garbage. Maybe the tea is better; they have a large selection.
