Excellent tacos and freshly made tortilla chips. Can’t beat simple perfection. The queso was rich, and not too thin. The quesadilla was melted just right and a little toasted on the outside. Not too much butter either. Some of the chips were stale, but the majority of them were just right.

I specifically came here to try the birria tacos, but ended up loving everything we tried. Don’t come here expecting a traditional Mexican-American fare. The focus here is on their tasty selections of meat served on tacos, tortas, quesadillas, etc. The chips and salsa were also tasty. The chips come out freshly fried and perfectly salted. Will be coming back again.

This was our first visit. The quesadilla was very good. The chips were too greasy, but the queso was good. Would not get the chips again. The mahi-mahi tacos were ok. Not many vegetarian options. Restaurant was very clean. Staff friendly. Love the outdoor seating option. Undecided as to whether will visit again.

Let’s all start with the margaritas since that’s why we’re here. They are a fresh squeeze mix with zero premix. It’s sweeter not tangy. You can taste the orange liqueur and the tequila at the end. I have searched across the country when I traveled for the best margaritas and I can confidently say definitely these are in my top five. Huge kudos! The second piece to keep in mind is this is a cantina. It is not a run of the mill Mexican place, so if you’re familiar with cantina’s this is a perfect one. The queso is delicious. Nothing wrong there. The price is right on par with other cantinas.

Food was a five star! DH had a chorizo quesadilla and a barbacoa taco. Both delish. Son had a birria torts which was fab. I had shrimp tacos that were spicy and delicious! We’ll definitely be back! Great flavors!

Love the food, especially nachos. House made chips are the best! Pictured here are the barbacoa nachos. I prefer mine without lettuce. Pro tip: go in the afternoon when less busy, and skip the line at the counter by ordering at the computer just beyond the counter.

I really really wanted to like this place. I’m from here but we live in Seattle, where authentic Mexican food runs rampant. You’re paying Seattle prices for a mediocre attempt at authentic Mexican food. That also might be a compliment. The older lady working behind the bar wasn’t friendly at all. It was 118$ and they wanted a tip when you bus your own table and order your food from a kiosk. The meats were way too salty and lacked flavor. The highlight was the margarita but the unfriendly attitude and the atmosphere was a total turn off. I wouldn’t return or recommend it. Which stinks because I really wanted to like it.

Love that we have this place in our little town! The tortas are amazing! We also enjoy the homemade tortilla chips. Their hard work has paid off and they will have more room soon. We will be back to help fill that area too!

I cannot describe to you how much I love this place. I frequent this establishment as a new local staple to the town of Cicero. Not only is the food very good with consistent quality the owner and her family/staff who work here are genuinely good people who show an interest in their community and strive to be the best they can be. I will be a forever customer of Bien Mexicana and continue to frequent this establishment once or twice a week.

Excellent food, service and hosts. They live up to their “agave cantina” by serving top shelf tequilas to enjoy with your food. Newly opened so they will be busy with limited seating. Be patient as the wait is absolutely worth it.
