I recently moved over here and fell in love with how fresh this place food taste. My first order was from the Chinese spot on beach 116th st near the chase bank and it was horrible. So horrible I wasn’t going back to try anything else. I found big Apple on google. My first order was half chicken with egg fried rice and it was too good. This order here in the photo is a shrimp and broccoli combo meal small. The portions is great. The combo comes with soup, egg roll. This order is $11.80 I believe, and it’s definitely worth it. I’m glad I didn’t have the same experience some people I see in the reviews had. This is my go to spot.

A couple of weeks ago on a Friday night I ordered Beef chow fun, and shrimp with broccoli. Food POISONING is what I bought. Woke up in the middle of the night with extreme stomach pain and vomiting. Took my body a week to recuperate. Will never buy from this place again. With the old owners I never got sick from their food.

The female employee Taking the order over the phone was very rude and uncourteous. She would not honor the lunch special schedule at 3:26 PM She would not take a delivery order.. I’ve never experienced that type of customer service before when I placed orders in the past. Because of this behavior is why I rated 3 but the food is good. Customer service is not good.

Showed up around 10..no one paid no mind to me and when I asked if I could get food..one of the workers without even looking me rudely yelled “closed”…Google says they are open until 1030. Not sure why I was treated this way, but not gonna happen again..won’t be returning. Thank you big apple!!!
