I’ve dined in and out of this joint for a long time and the food is always on point! My order is correct and always super delicious and tastes like a pie you’d get in NYC. The real issue with this great place is the service. You never know if you’re supposed to seat yourself or order at the counter. The workers seem really discombobulated at times like there’s no structure. I really really wish the service could match the quality of the pizza. I’ve waited up to an hour and a half for a to go order and even though that’s insane, I do it because I LOVE the pizza!

I went here for the first time in many years tonight. Everyone enjoyed their pizzas. The veggies were fresh in the salads and on the pizzas, and the crust was just right. There are plenty of options. I appreciated the vegan cheese and gluten free crust options. Service was excellent, and they had the NBA and NHL playoffs on as well. Very satisfied!

This is our favorite pizza place in all of Salt Lake, we used to live down the street in Millcreek and after two moves we still drive across the valley for this. The pies and garlic knots are delicious. The staff is great and we love that they offer monthly specials and our kids love getting their free mini birthday pizza.

This place is a gem in the community. The dining room is quaint, comfortable, casual, and clean. This is a great place to meet a friend for lunch or dinner for really delicious food that for a great value. They stay quite busy, so it’s not the place for a quick bite. But this environment is more suitable for staying awhile and enjoying yourself (unless, of course, you called ahead with a to-go order—this seems to be a very popular choice for that). I would recommend Big Apple Pizzeria again and again.

Ordered a Large 16” cheese pizza, and got a 13” pizza instead. That is smaller than a medium (allegedly 14”) pizza. The result was 2/3 the amount of pizza I payed for!!! Huge rip off! First time and last time.

We went for the NY experience and loved every bite! We tried the garlic knots first. They were soft and chewy—the marinara is outstanding and if you like blue cheese dressing, don’t skip it. We also got 3-18 inch pies. 2 cheese and one Monte Cristo. It was so good! The cheese pizza was perfectly foldable, the crust was just the right thickness, and it was baked to perfection. The Monte Cristo has a white sauce and seriously, when we go back it will be hard to deviate from these choices. We loved it! We dined in, but there was a lot of carry out action too. It’s a popular spot for a good reason. They have great pizza, and a fun crew. I tried to adopt Sam while we were there. Thank you, we’ll be back with more people!

Great pizza, would definitely go back. Had the California Veggie (added breakfast bacon). Delicious, and I would like it even better if there was some spinach and/or zucchini on it. The white cheese sauce has great flavor. Also had the Verrazano canzone which great. The pizza crust is perfectly crisp and chewy, and the pizza is well browned but not burnt like some places do.
