Had the pulled pork dinner. It’s pulled pork in a mild BBQ sauce on a bun.(a lil dry) Served with 2 sides. I had the collard greens and grilled cabbage. The cabbage had a subtle smokey flavor. Overall a good dining experience. For the dinner and a 16.9 oz soda $15.78. Seating for about 20 people.

5 stars for some of the best brisket I’ve ever had. You can never go wrong with any of their other meats and lets face it, thats what you came here for. Mac & cheese is always bomb along with the beans. Only thing I don’t like is their collard greens which are undercooked and lacking flavor in my view. Still well worth 5 stars. I love their historic murals and regalia inside the place as well. The people are always super friendly and will leave you feeling extremely satisfied.

Stopped here for lunch and it was really good! The food was excellent quality and very well priced. This place is very small so it isn’t the best dine in experience but the food is worth it. The service was very friendly as well. I highly recommend this place.

I’m almost sure it was Microwave brisket Really!!! don’t know how this place has all these reviews by far the worst place I’ve been to in the area.. the brisket was so hot and really dry.. soon as I open my plate, I didn’t have a good feeling. I ordered a brisket sandwich and fries. The brisket was so tender and delicious. They deserve ten stars. The only issue i have the dining area is too small. I hope in the future the establishment will expand.

First time going and definitely not disappointed. Some of the best BBQ we have ever had. We got the buffet and there was plenty to choose from and the food was nice and hot. It was an added plus to see the panels highlighting local African American history. We will definitely be back.

Was riding past after getting scrubs from Cardinal. I’ve seen the place many times but never stopped… Today I did. And I AM GLAD!!! I spent a little over $8 and got a leg quarter (leg and a thigh, very nice size), 2 ribs, and 2 sides. I WILL be back. And plan to use their catering services in the future.
