We tried this location for dinner. The BBQ was ok. It’s better than some of the other Memphis BBQ I tried. The green beans were amazing . The bake beans were a little tangy, so they were ok. The ribs were ok, a bit chewy, and fatty, and some of them were dry. I would try them again when they first open.

My receipt said Potato Salad, I got four small things of coke slaw. It’s 8:29 pm, they close at 9pm or so the sign indicates. I called back to alert them of the error and no one answered the phone.

Big Bill is some downhome delicious barbeque. The rib tips were tip top. The sauce is fantastic. The service is great. Memphis offers a lot of BBQ, and while Bill isn’t as well known as Corky’s or Rendezvous he’s a true contender for the best. Give Bill a try so you can say you did it before it was cool

Great place for lunch. True Memphis style BBQ sandwich. (That means it’s piled so high it falls off the bun and you better have a napkin handy). My partner got the Pork Plate. Not as messy but still good. Follow that up with some Sweet Tea and their version of Brownie with nuts on top. That’s a great meal. AND they have a bar here too, said the place starts jumpin at 4:30. Maybe next time…

The pulled pork plate was wonderful! The sauce was mild and had a good flavor. The coleslaw and green beans were good and the pulled pork was really good! Would stop by again if we ever visit that part of Memphis. My favorite part was the French fries. Don’t know what the seasoning was on top but it was delicious !

Good service, however the food was HORRIBLE, quite the disappointment… Not at all worth the $12 or $13 I spent! The seasoned fries smelled like pure DOG FOOD, NO JOKE… The smell overpowered the entire bag and anyones nostrils within 10ft of it! Once I overcame the urge to puke I checked out the fries, horrible! 1 fry had more seasoning on it than all the others put together! Half the fries had NO seasoning on em and the rest had a gob or 2 here & there on them! Then, the Pulled Pork Sandwich with mild sauce & slaw was a real shame! I had to literally search for the sauce, ended up finding 2 or 3 small (I mean minute) squirts! Ohhh yeah, and that coleslaw, though watery, tasted ok.

S/o to Big Bill Bar-B-Que on Kirby for making customers reserve for Brunch for a 12pm or 2pm spot and when you arrive for 2pm spot no shrimp and grits, no fish, no greens, no mac-n-cheese only a select items of breakfast. Here’s the kicker they don’t tell you they’re out of items just continue to get customers in to pay and serve you plates of STIFF scrambled eggs that look like they haven’t been touched since the last brunch. Oh and what a very professional manager they have working there . She really does know what customer service mean. I don’t own a restaurant but if you don’t close until 4 and last reservation is at 2(your selected times thats on the site) no way should you be out of food or telling customers (we’re not bringing anything else out what you see is what you get). but support black own restaurants. They lost 8 paid customers. We did get out refund.

First time trying this bbq spot. Purchased a Turkey leg plate. It came with 2 sides so I ordered potato salad and spaghetti. All of it was okay, but it didn’t tickle my taste buds. I’ve been trying to find a place with awesome smoked Turkey legs. Well the fair is coming so I’ll get 2 lol.
