Some of the best comfort food I’ve had! I’m originally from NC, so I’m used to down home cooking on the regular. I’ve been out of state for several years and was visiting Columbia. I wanted something that “felt like home” without going all the way home. This place definitely satisfied my tastebuds along with the hospitality. My only recommendation to anyone who eats here is to wait until you get home to eat if you can stand it, unless you don’t mind messy eating in your vehicle 10/10 would recommend!

REALLY good food!! Stopped by for a veggie plate and a wing plate. I don’t normally eat wings of any kind, but these were seasoned and cooked exceptionally well. All of the vegetables (macaroni, cabbage, and fries) were delicious as well. I don’t like peppers and they were in the cabbage, but it still tasted good. We also got red velvet cake and the strawberry pound cake. ALL of the food was good and the service was good as well. Would definitely return!

I got the smothered pork chop dinner with white rice, Mac & chees, and yams ! Y’all this food is Bussin (goodt) . I’m from MS and this is the closest I’ve gotten to my grandma’s soul food! The soul food was great. My first time here, even though I have passed this place several times. All take-out. No seating. Today I ordered the 6 piece chicken wing dinner. The chicken is cooked when ordered…so I had to wait. The Dinner of cabbage, mac n cheese, rice n gravy, corn bread and side of yams was tasty. It seems to get it quicker, you need to call in.

Oh my God I flew in from Denver for Black Tie affair last December my cousin took me and granddaughter here for food I finally found a restaurant that makes their macaroni better than my family and I know how ours is loved not only that everything I eat is extremely well.
