Fun environment with great sandwiches and soup. We tried several soups and sandwiches and everything was great. I haven’t tried too many places in Idaho springs, but so far this has been the best. The soups were all full of flavor with great texture and the sandwiches were also killer. Prices were reasonable for the area and the atmosphere was just downright fun with the cheesus mural and snowboards hanging on the walls. They also have a pet friendly patio and even let us sit with the dog inside which was much appreciated on a rainy day. Would definitely recommend stopping by on the way back from the mountains.

Definitely a great place to go and get a great grilled cheese. I ended up getting the Southwest without cheese and definitely recommend it. They also have a kids menu with the classic grilled cheese that taste amazing. The sides are soup and chips. But the decor inside is pretty cool. And the place was so clean! Even the bathrooms!!

Legit best sandwich and soup we have had in years! Stopped by for lunch after hiking Mount Evans and everything was homemade and amazing! Everything you get will be amazing, their green Chile was to die for and loved the southwest sandwich! So much flavor:)

CRAZY GOOD SANDWICHES! What! I recommend ordering online. The line moved slow and we were glad we had already placed our order. The line is slow because the guys working are busting their butts, so the service is still good. It’s worth the wait. The atmosphere is really fun and cool too. The bathrooms were shockingly clean! Private too. All of us loved our sandwiches however my Philly with added American cheese and grilled jalapeños was the star. SO DANG GOOD. I’ll dream about this sandwich.

Came here on our way up the mountain. Noticed that it had very high reviews so figured we should stop and try it out. Have to say it was some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever tried. I had the Big Texan and tried the Big Philly (what my wife had gotten). All the food came out very fresh, and can tell it was made with passion. Owner and staff were very friendly at this restaurant. I’d recommend this place to anyone that is passing through Idaho springs and wants a great sandwich or some great soup as well.

A really unique and lovely local spot! I loved the decor from the kitschy cheese-dripped exterior to the giant Cheesus mural. The Mario grilled cheese was so tasty and loaded with pepperoni. The Mexican apple juice was also awesome and my soup was decent! The prices seemed fair and the servings felt generous. Definitely a good place to stop if you’re on your way from St Mary’s Glacier to Golden or in the area!

Fun and quirky sandwich restaurant in Idaho Springs, CO. Being across the street from the lodge, it was an easy decision for lunch. They definitely have the best grilled cheese sandwich I ever had. The people that work there are super nice and I enjoyed talking to them. If you stop through Idaho Springs, they’re well worth the stop.
