A Shoe

Quiet large American food restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Eat at covered patio, inside or at the bar. The nacho appetizer almost filled up two adults. Chips are kettle cooked and thin crust pizza is full of flavor.

My wife and I went here the other night and it was great. I got the Toaster Lasagna and my wife got the Smoked Pork Steak, both were delicious. The portion sizes are large, so come hungry or expect to take some home, either way, it’s awesome. They also have Blue Owl dessert, so that is a plus. Our several was attentive, funny, and professional, and the overall atmosphere was cool. We definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back.

I had a perfectly cooked Bison burger, and I mean prefect today. The burger had so much bison flavor, the bun isn’t too big or overdressed with butter, nothing fancy, just perfect. The smoked brisket chili was spot on but better than the food was the staff. Our server, was fantastic. Great atmosphere, plenty of room.

This is a great local pub and restaurant. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. This time of year outdoor seating is incredible. This was my first visit and what impressed me the most was the staff and service. The restaurant was very busy, but I still received superb service. I was in the mood for pizza and the pizza I received was delicious. The prices were very affordable, food was delicious and service was exceptional. This is a great establishment.

I got the bison burger cooked medium and I tried the baked beans as my side. The burger was cooked perfectly and it was delicious. The baked beans were in a thick molasses sauce and were delicious. The building looks old and feels nostalgic. The waitress didn’t smile once, I don’t know if that was her shtick. We ate in the main dining room but I checked out the back patio and I can see having a lot of fun watching sports out there.

Great service. Food and drinks including refills were received quickly on a busy day. The outdoor patio with fans and shade was very comfortable. Food was very good and served fresh and hot. Try the Reuben. Country Fried Steak was large with big sides of green beans and mashed potatoes. Kids loved the house dressing and pastas were good. Beer menu was varied with many good options. Save room for dessert.

We visited this restaurant for the first time, a few days ago. We were truly impressed and after just one visit, this place quickly became one of our favorites. We ordered a cheeseburger and fries, turkey club with house chips and a loaded burger with everything on it and it was all so good. The cookie pie was enough to feed 3 people except my teenage son ate it all by himself. We also ordered strawberry cheesecake. … we liked the cheesecake but the cookie cake was GREAT!! We will most certainly return! Next time, we will bring friends too.
