First of all the hours are wrong. Even though Google maps shows it’s closed they’re wrong. The restaurant should change it on Google Maps if they care about getting more customers. The people who are writing bad reviews are probably high or something or maybe just Karens. I first tried Big Chopsticks by my house in Placenta and they are always good. Today I got the steamed rice and Orange Chicken. Both were very good. The girl behind the counter wasn’t too enthusiastic but as long as the food is good WHO cares. Service was fast, within 10 minutes. Food was nice and hot. The food is made when you order. It’s not like a typical Chinese Fast Food where the food is kept hot under glass.

I was reluctant to even order from this place due to the unusal low score but I decided to give it a shot anyway and boy, was I proved right. The person taking my order over the phone was polite, courteous and fast. When I went to pick up the food at around 10pm on a Sunday night, the place was clean, tidy and well-lit. The food was nicely packaged in a large bag and upon arriving home and taking out the takeout (no pun intended) I noticed the portions were generous and filling. The food is fresh, delicious and is above-average when it comes to fast food Chinese. I ordered the House Chow Mein (highly recommended) the Orange Chicken (one of the best I’ve tried) and the Honey Walnut Shrimp (truly worth the extra money). Highly recommended price for reasonably-priced but very delicious Chinese takeout!

I recently dined at Big Chopsticks Chinese Restaurant and I have to say that my experience was just okay. I ordered the Mongolian beef, and while the beef itself was tender and flavorful, I was disappointed with the sauce. It lacked the depth of flavor that I was hoping for and left much to be desired.

I bought the orange chicken in a large size with a side of fried rice for $22. The guy had it ready in 2 minutes, it fed me for 3 meals, and it actually tasted pretty good.

Food was mediocre for the price. Orange chicken was bland and fried rice was super dry. I found a dead fruit fly in my fried rice, but should’ve known the place wasn’t super hygienic when walking in as the whole kitchen is hidden and the place felt super dirty.

This is the best Chinese food for takeout and delivery in the area. Huge portions! And delivery is pretty quick. We forgot to order rice separately. It’s not included in the dinner.
