It’s a neat little place with really good pizza. We enjoyed the thin crust, an order of meatballs (kids loved those) and cheese sticks. They are generous with cheese and topping so we ask for light cheese, light sauce. We have had the Chicago deep dish, New York and Chicago thin crust and we liked them all. I got sausage and pepperoni and they loaded it down with toppings.

Food was good, but they had smut playing on the tv. Plus, a lady came in to pick up one of those giant pizzas, and they didn’t offer any help getting it into her car. Couldn’t even be bothered to open the door.

The food is pretty good but make sure you check your order before you leave. We ordered a stuffed crust but instead got a deep dish that we were not expecting. Wasn’t a big fan of it but it was decent. Online it said that it was $15 but when we paid they try to charge us $25 for it. My online receipt said that it was a pizza with stuffed crust. Crust was hollow and burned on the bottom. It was just a medium pizza and I was just expecting to have crust with cheese in it but instead I had a second layer of marinara and Parmesan on top of the Bronx pizza. I was glad to not have to pay the extra $10 so that was nice.

Pizza and wings were great. Love Big City. However the pretzel bites were burnt and sticking to the pan. My wife was not happy. “If She ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy” ….I called and they gave me credit for a new order on a future purchase…. Mistakes happen.

The pizza is always 5 stars, but the calzones are usually a miss. I regularly order from the Big City in Richmond and the presentation/overall assembly of their calzones is much better. Ordered tonight but the bread was burnt/cracked on the top yet still undercooked below. Love the pizza, but won’t order a calzone from this location again.
