It is rare in this city at current time to get good service, let alone great service. I have eaten here multiple times recently. Each time I was a Met with the most courteous and friendliest waitress and staff. I haven’t seen in this town in quite sometime. On top of that the food was more than expected. I had the fish dinner. And the last time I was in I had one piece that did not meet my desired specifications. I brought it to my waitress attention. And she was more than happy to take care of the situation. I would recommend anyone looking for a great meal in an extremely relaxing atmosphere, to give this place a shot.

Now this is a good old down to earth family place to eat at. The food is great along with the prices. The staff is so nice and always comes by to see if they can get you anything else. The place is clean and so are the restrooms. I recommend it to everyone.

So disappointed in our experience. First, they charge you for the hush puppies now. Was told because of the prices of the new hush puppies they came across. They were better off with the old ones. They’re new ones are way smaller and not great taste. But, my children ordered popcorn shrimp. Where we found they do not devein their shrimp! Highly disgusting. When I brought it to the waitress’s attention it was clear she was FRUSTRATED with me. Told me she would tell the owner. She didnt ask if my children wanted something else to eat. So, my girls left hungry. Also, with their full plates she charged full price for them. No accommodation for their poor hygiene. Just a very disappointing experience. At the front I saw a man try to order shrimp where I let him know and he quickly ordered something else. Let people know atleast.

Fried catfish and banana pudding never disappoint. Good service depends on your server, it’s hit and miss most visits. Being charged for hard, heat-lamp, dried out hush puppies, NOPE! maybe if you gave them out again for free they wouldn’t sit so long. At least the first dozen. Atmosphere is old and dust caked on anything that has sat since opening. The 80’s called and wants it’s hat/dirt collection back! cost to much for what you get.

This place is pretty good! I like coming here when I want a quick catfish fix, the beers are in plastic glasses so I can’t give 5 stars sorry! I wanta cold frosty mug of beer! The other stuff besides the fish isn’t the best of the best either but it’s ok, just stick to the catfish and you’ll be fine, the green beans are really good and so were the hush puppies. The raw oysters on the half shell were really really good! Come try it out!

They were busy but our server was great! The food is not like it was 10 yrs ago…..you do not get hush puppy stix for free, now you have to pay for them. So disappointed. I still love them! I had the Baja Shrimp, it was ok because I did not like the sauce that was on it. My Hubby had the special 2 Shrimp, 2 catfish. He said it was ok.

Was highly disappointed at the way my food tasted tonight, ordered the catfish and shrimp and it was so nasty I could not even eat it. My son ordered a side of Mac and cheese and it was so cold and nasty tasting. Hush puppies were cold and nasty also!
