Super good place! The fried mushrooms were amazing, and the rootbeer floats were great! I was full on those alone! The staff were super nice and friendly too! The place is right next to the dam and has a nice little river you can go fishing at, super pretty there and fun place to hang out at if you want to eat outside!

Workers need to learn good customer. Saw a lady walk around the corner from the counter towards picnic tables and her ice cream fell off cone. Workers were rude and didn’t even comp a new cone which would show good customer service. Worker made rude comment.

Food was pretty good. Some big guy that worked there kept yelling and acting obnoxious killing the whole relaxing atmosphere though. He kept yelling that he was the king of grease while we was just trying to enjoy watching the river.

This woman at the window dropped the ice cream when handing it to me when I went yesterday. I apologized and she started scoffing and being rude then rudely asked if I wanted another then charged me for the second one. I was fine with paying for it but she when she handed me the nachos I also ordered she made a smart comment and sat them down “bc I wasn’t smart enough to hold onto nothing”. So buy the end of it I payed ten dollars for a cheap ice cream cone and five dollars for nachos served with attitude. Horrible customer service

May 2023. best food and bait concession anywhere !! The folks that run this place really care. They will go WAY beyond the usual to see that you are served good food. The bait and other items provided are stocked. This is the best !

Excellent foodie shack!! Counter service; quickly and freshly made! Hot foods, ice cream, cold drinks. We got cheeseburgers, and a catfish basket. Very good!! We camped at Kendall Campground, so this is right on the Kendall C.O.E. campus. Plenty of picnic tables close by. Restrooms are nextdoor. The Dam is right in its backyard! This snack shack is seasonal and closes Oct 31st. Enjoy it while you can!!
