I was out running errands and decided to stop in for breakfast. I have enjoyed Big Daves Deli in the past and today I wanted the half order of biscuits and gravy. I add two over easy eggs with extra gravy. The biscuits are moist on the inside with a firmness on the outside and the sausage gravy is wonderful. The gravy is not too salty. All in all it was a wonderful breakfast.

Big Dave’s is a deli anchor in the Zionsville community and has been bringing quality meat to town for many years. The standard deli sandwiches, etc., are on the menu, but of particular note are the breakfast sandwiches – generous amounts of various meats on a bagel, served hot and satisfying. Quality, solid choice!

I had the steak burger. They do not have a fryer here so there are no french fries available. They have an assortment of chips and you can get some of the deli sides but I did not. I think they do a pretty good breakfast business here and I might go back for breakfast. There were some people that were having breakfast when I was there about 11:00. Good parking out front.

Two weeks in a row i couldn’t have anything that involved gravy for breakfast, even though several menu items include that. First time, no milk (not sure why they wouldn’t know that the night before and get some). Second time they just told me it would take an hour to make it. My stove at home makes a big skillet of gravy in about 10 minutes.

Love this place! Great breakfast and breakfast sandwiches. Staff is extremely friendly and get your food ready in a timely manner. They also do deli sandwiches, catering with meat trays and such, and will order cuts of meat for you. You would easily drive by it and miss a great experience. A local favorite.

This is a small, order-at-the-counter “deli”. It seems almost stopped in time a few decades ago. Nothing wrong with that. The employees were friendly, service was fast and the reuben sandwich was tasty. Marbled rye with a nice stack of hot corned beef, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut. Came with a side of thousand island dressing and a pickle spear. I bought a bottle of water but some fountain drinks and bottled drinks are available.

The cook/chief is on point with their Gluten- Free Reuben. It is amazing. Even if you don’t eat gluten-free.. TRY IT the sandwich is great.
