Locally operated small restaurant and ice cream shop serving a nice array of food. The staff are exceptionally nice while the prices are reasonable. The indoor dining area is on the small side but never seems packed and there are multiple picnic tables next to a large shade tree outside. There is an unobstructed view of the river with occasional river traffic to watch. Yes, they have ice cream too.

I love this place. If you’re on a tow boat it’s easy to lay in on the bank and send the guys over to get some grub. I got the breaded pork tenderloin and mushrooms. Both were excellent. The pork loin is not beat so thin that it’s mostly breading. It’s a nice thick piece breaded evenly. Could easily make 2 sandwiches. I try to stop when ever I’m up this way.
