I have been coming here since I was a baby that could barely keep her head up. I’m 22 years old now, and I still come here. It’s practically a tradition to go when it begins to get cold out because home cooking is the best when it’s cold out and this is home cooking.

We went here because of all the high ratings; we were disappointed. The ribs and the pulled pork were drenched in vinegar. I could literally smell the vinegar from my plate – when I tasted the meats the taste of vinegar was so pungent, I couldn’t finish. The sweet potato souffle which everyone raved about in the ratings was nothing more than pureed yams saturated in brown sugar; there was no flavor… no vanilla essence, cinnamon pecans,… nothing that would make it special.

Regarding the service, I always get the buffet so I’m helping myself to the food and drink. Everyone here has always been super friendly. The food is awesome, and the person above who said the bbq tastes like vinegar does not know what “real” southern bbq should taste like. I’ve been eating here for years and its my first stop after landing at the airport, the pulled pork and fried chicken are second to none!

As locals, we always take our friends and family here for some southern comfort food. Do not let the decor fool you, this place serves some of the best fried chicken, mac and cheese and banana pudding one can find. Ge the buffet as you will want to go back for seconds.

Augh…. Just awful. Keep on driving. The buffet looked like it had been sitting for hours…. Literally… I would not touch it. We ordered a pulled pork and a pulled chicken sandwich. The pulled chicken was ok… The pulled pork looked like mush and tasted like vinegar. The only thing that was good was the tea. But now I’m even scared that maybe the lines or the Brewers could be moldy. Just not happy. Sometimes the exterior looks do tell the interior story. Don’t eat here.

Baffingly bad. The pulled pork tastes like actual vomit. I know you’ll make the same mistake we made and go here anyway. You’re hungry for some bbq and want to get “off the beaten path” here at Myrtle Beach. You’ll say “Hey, every place gets SOME bad reviews”. As you take your first bite into what is undoubtedly the regurgitated results of the cook’s drunken binge last night at some better,classier BBQ place, think of my words here, and don’t try to salvage this meal. Cut your losses and eat somewhere with standards.

We got lucky and found this place last week while on vacation. Best barbecue chicken ever!! The staff was nice and friendly and all of the food was delicious! We will definitely go back when we are in town again.

It is always perfect! Anyone who knows BBQ in this part of SC will attest to that fact. I eat at every BBQ place in the country that I can when traveling and nothing compares to this place.Fools that don’t know BBQ should go to Subway for their new BBQ sandwich.

For the price ya cant beat it, fried chicken, pork with vinegar sauce and non vinegar sauce, good homemade sweet potato soufle and lots of good beans but they need some desert.
