I went today and ordered 2 lb of brisket a half a pound of sausage and the 16 oz beans. Sausage and beans were good as usual but the brisket was extremely hard and tough. My wife called and the owner wasn’t there. The person she did speak to said that when she got back he would let her know so that she could call, but she never did. I wanted to wait until I could talk with them before doing this review, because it is usually really good, but since they thought so little of us as customers, is the reason why I decided to go on ahead and write the review. It’s safe to say I won’t be going back.

I literally can’t say enough about these fine folks. Not only did they make the finest brisket I have ever had, they are also amazing people. We needed a last minute caterer for our May the 4th barbecue, and they came through in a stunning fashion. The brisket was moist and delicious and tender, and the smoked chicken was to die for. From here on out a trip to Brownsville will just not be the same unless I visit.
