First time coming here and ordered the special, Blue Gill platter. Ordered the fish lightly breaded, tried the hush puppies and never go wrong with green beans! The Blue Gill was cooked to perfection. Seasoned lovely and totally enjoyed. I can’t wait to go back. I can’t believe I haven’t before now.

The 2 ladies and the cook working on Hillegas were terrific. I called them 45 minutes ahead with an $80 order on Saturday night. They had no problem hitting it out of the park. The fish was a big hit at dinner. I was asked where I got the fish multiple times. Thanks, I’ll be back.

I love Big Eye Fish, and you will too. Lovely customer service, top tier fried fish, and their fried chicken is low key NUTS. Not much else you can say, just get some fish and tip generously, they deserve it.

My family owns Big Eyed Fish. If you’re looking for a new place for fish or want to try something different, this is the place to go for the best fish in town!!! Now I’m not much of a fish eater, but I’ll eat my Uncle Tim’s famous fish ❤️. So that should tell ya something, lol. They also offer seasonal specials, chicken and great salads!! They have 3 convenient locations and a food truck!!! Ohh…..and they’re breakfast is pretty awesome too

The fish was extremely overcooked and dry. I was really excited as I’ve tried the Leo location and it was good. Very disappointed. I would’ve taken it back had I not laid my daughter down for a nap.

It’s no longer Fish of Stroh like. The tarter sauce has definitely changed and not for the better and the fish breading as well. I feel like I did when RAX restaurant went out of business
