I absolutely love their burgers here. Such a huge and delicious selection. Inside seating by bar, and dining, along with outside dining. Very comfortable atmosphere with very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting or living in New Albany that wants a great lunch/dinner!

Unfortunately, I’ve had more than over bad experience Big Four. We ordered the beer cheese appetizer. The pretzel bread was burnt to a crisp (see pic below) the salad was drenched in dressing and had very little chicken. The service was poor – even on a Sunday evening when the place was all but empty. Skip it

Food is amazing in person, just don’t order take out. Out of ~10 entrees ordered for lunch for co-workers only two or three werent missing significant amounts of items or incorrect entirely.

I love this place! I believe they have the best burgers I have ever put my mouth around. The fries are also delicious, along with everything else on the menu. Service is also good, and the place has a great atmosphere. One of my favorite restaurants in the Louisville area. Definitely worth the extra money.

The food, atmosphere, and 1/2 the time the service is great (hit or miss on the server you get). They can’t seem to keep cooks in the kitchen, and therefore their food takes forever to come out. Short staffed is a common excuse every time we go…which leads me to believe there may be a management problem. We waited almost 2 hours last time we were here for a 4 top table. This is much too long a wait for a burger place. Get some good staff that you can keep and then it’ll be a great place to go.

Food was delicious. Our waitress was great. Getting our adult drinks almost impossible. If the bartender could serve the drinks as well as she served attitude, it would have been an excellent night celebrating a birthday. We actually heard her say “here take these out there, maybe it will shut them up for a while”. For a $98 food/drink bill, I would have expected a little more from the bar. Don’t blame our waitress at all. She did her job very well. It was a slow night, not sure why the bar-keep couldn’t keep pace.

The food was great. Not so much on the wait staff. They seemed very new to the profession. The atmosphere was very nice. A quaint rustic “this-used-to-be-an-old-store-front” kind of vibe. The previous restaurant in this location was the South Side Inn. A great cafeteria style restaurant. The new place even kept the old signage as a decoration in the new dining room. Very cool. I highly recommend this place, even with the inexperienced staff.

We had a group of more than 20. I called ahead to arrange for our group to eat on the patio. Our servers were great; very attentive and friendly. They moved us to their party room due to a pop up storm in the middle of a very busy lunch crowd. Can’t say enough about the crew here.
