What caught my eye was the $6 Gyro special for Wednesdays. Stepped up to the counter got the gyro, the Greek fries, and just as I was walking away I saw big thick slices of baklava cheesecake. Busted a complete u-turn back to the counter to pay for a slice.

I’m so happy they opened a branch near us, now i won’t have to drive too far whenever I get a craving for Greek food. I love their grilled lamb chops and always pair it with roast Greek potatoes and rice pilaf; gyro pita and French fries are also a favorite.

The Gyro and fries are delicious and fairly priced. I usually go to Silver Spring location which was a great service but the food quality has gone down, finally i tried the Big Greek Cafe on New Hampshire ave and I’ve got to said that this new location is definitely the one i been looking for.

Went twice recently. Food is almost* entirely delicious and portions are huge, and there was very little wait time for the food. Very good value. Best moussaka I’ve had in a long time. My family and I also had several pita sandwiches, calamari, gyro bowl, baked chicken, and avgolomono soup. The chicken and sides were tasty, but the chicken breast was a little dry. I couldnt eat the avgolomono soup – extremely salty and overly lemony. Dine in is not fancy, but is fine. They were doing a lot of carry out options. Will definitely return!
