Great little burger place! Kids were hungry and we just wanted out of the chaos of Charleston, so I randomly picked Big Gun. This place is edgy with a little bit of glam, which I love. The bathroom is covered in graffiti…. super cool!! We were told it would be a 45 minute wait for our food, but that was fine with us. Staff shortages are everywhere! It gave me a chance to walk the shops nearby. And the food was definitely worth the wait! The menu is small, but I like that when dealing with the kids. Prices are a little high, but I’m guessing that’s normal for Charleston. I had the vegan tacos. They were great! It was taco seasoned cauliflower with a slaw. Hubby and kids all had burgers. They were big and cooked to perfection. The classic is just that, an old school burger with onion and pickle… very good! The fries were crispy, just how the kids love. The waiter/bartender was very friendly and helpful. The adult beverages are plenty! Overall, good experience, a very relaxed vibe and great food!!

A nice quiet place to get a good dinner. I haven’t done much walking around town, but this was great and I plan on coming again. You order at the bar and then sit, which is a unique experience for me. I personally didn’t make any edits to my meal, but I did hear the couple next to me make some requests and they were very accommodating and patient with the mods

As a foodie who’s had the pleasure to experience dive bars across 38 different states – this place is fantastic. And the burger is top 10 I’ve had ever.

Really cool place with delicious burgers. Three of us had burgers, and I had the fried chicken sandwich, which was delicious! Everyone was very happy with their food. The fries were so good!! Not a ton on the menu but everything we had was amazing.

Best vegan burger I’ve ever had! I don’t eat exclusively vegan and I had been craving a burger but once I read this on the menu I just knew I wanted it. It filled all my burger needs. The crispy kale was like fries on a burger(but better- so perfectly crispy and salty) and the avocado like a healthier version of cheese with this amazing burnt bun and a FAT veggie burger. So many veg burgers are thin but this one made me feel like I wasn’t missing out on anything and in fact it was better than any meat burger I’ve had lately. Without all the bloating and nastiness I sometimes feel after eating meat. Highly recommend to meat eater and vegans alike.

It was a small place, but the food was good. The bartender was busy so it took a little while to get our food but all was well. If you’re looking for a good burger and fry this is the place to go.

I came in with some friends while we were in town. This place was very lived in, comfortable, and simple. It is exactly what you’d expect from a simple bar. I didn’t get food as the kitchen had closed but the bartender was incredibly friendly and fun to chat with. Might not be a place for everyone, but we had a good time. Id recommend the old fashioned they make with their whiskers casked specifically for their bar.

Place a bit run down and could use some cleaning up and updating. Staff ok and friendly. Food was ok but not exceptional. Fries arrived cold and the orange soda was probably full of chemicals. The root beer was better.

Best burger in Charleston. Best bartender in the City. Great beer and bourbon selection. Must try when visiting. Atmosphere is one of a kind.
