JJ’s was an on the road stop that did not disappoint. The catfish was lightly battered and perfectly fried as grandma used to fry hers. The fries were the best I have ever eaten. Large portions. Everything was scrumptious! *Note, it’s the perfect hole in the wall local place that only does carry out. Worth the stop!

A very solid spot to grab a nice meal. I love the whole and Buffalo wings. By surprise, their fries are absolutely phenomenal. Everytime I have gone here, my friends and I have been very satisfied. This is definitely a place worth every dollar.

I like JJ’s up in chicago…. but, this one, gave me and and my roommates food poisoning for five days from the catfish and we had separate orders, with some time in between, so they must’ve been giving bad fish all day. Fries are good fresh tho. and the sauce. not the fish.

It was my first time visiting. The food was good and I will return but I asked whether the fish was battered or cornmeal and I was told they use flour. The fish was cornmeal. I bought a wing meal and the wings were so tiny you can inhale them. The fries were really good and service wasn’t bad.

Very good and plenty of food. We tried the fish, chicken tenders, and fries with sodas. The ladies behind the counter were super nice and friendly. We sat outside under the trees to enjoy our delicious dinner in the shade and fresh air. Beautiful place.

They are very stingy with giving out mild sauce. Why did I only received one small container of mild sauce when I ordered a whole big box of fries. I even called before hand after ordering my food and I asked the worker if he could put extra inside my bag since I had a big box of fries you guys need to start measuring out the sauce correctly per meal.
