Stopped in for bbq but they had no brisket, ribs, or sausage. I opted for a cheeseburger as did my wife. We were pleasantly surprised, the well seasoned grill imparted a great flavor and the burgers had a good crust. The tomatoes and onions were fresh and they were darn good! I don’t know how their bbq is, but I would definitely stop in for another cheeseburger.

We eat here all the time. But tonight the order got messed up. I know Chadd said no Cole slaw because he hates Cole slaw. My kids hate Cole slaw. I spent 36 dollars on food that all has Cole slaw on it so no one will eat it. And when I went there they refused to fix it. Enjoy the 36 dollars I honestly couldn’t afford on dinner. I will not be back. All business I giving you and was going to give you in the future is gone. I know it doesn’t matter to you guys obviously my business didn’t mean anything.

Can I give negative stars? Unfriendly customer service, overcharged us for food that they didn’t itemize on receipt, and after an hour of not receiving appetizers or burgers, we asked for our money back. They never apologized or even informed us the kitchen was down. Not to mention, still waiting on refund almost a week ago. Horrible place

I absolutely hate doing this to a locally owned place, however… Something to consider: serving more than just pulled pork/chicken? No ribs (beef or pork), brisket, sausage, nada. No staples like Mac n cheese or banana pudding. Some apps are even what you get from the freezer aisle, yikes.

We got there at before they opened and was the first people in and you would think everything would be hot and fresh but boy was I wrong. They were literally microwaving our BBQ. What barbecue House microwaves their meat????? Apparently this was the way the reheat their meat before there dinner rush. Plus the taters were burnt, I looked like a 3rd grader cut them up. For $30 blessing dollars this was all wrong. I haven’t asked if they can make it again fresh they acted like that’s not possible. They don’t pull fresh meat everyday. I’m thinking then why am I here. I really wanted to enjoy this place too.

I love their BBQ & Baked beans! Not to mention the fried okra and atmosphere! This lace place has been a part of little ol’ Hohenwald TN ever since I can remember! My mom would take me on my visits every summer & weekends as a small child. The only thing missing was my Mom and I’m sure she was sitting at the table with us. Gotta try it, it’s your hometown bbq place to go!
