So the atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous. The interior is nice and quality with pretty tables. But…there are problems. Serious problems. John hardly ever opens at all, the wait staff is fine if you get Jenn, but otherwise it’s questionable, and the cooking can often leave burned food if John is cooking. Also the seats are half taped and broken, with obviously lack of care gone into the place of late. Wish I could give a better review….but lately this is all they deserve.

Big John’s Restaurant is one of the most Big John’s Restaurant I have ever eaten at, I loved the fact that the John on the sign was very big, definitely lived up to the name, the food was good and Big John’s special sauce was probably not ketchup mixed with mayonnaise which is always a delight, friendly servers and milkshakes were a welcome surprise even if they seemed to assumed that me and my party were high, we were not to my knowledge, unfortunate that it has the be in Nebraska but no one is perfect, if you ever find yourself inside Big John’s Restaurant parking lot you should definitely stop in and eat

It’s okay. Ordered the club sandwich. Kinda reminds me of bar food…simply made. Just regular toast, sliced meat that isn’t separated, over-cooked bacon with a chunk of lettuce. Staff over worked according to staff. Long time to receive food.

I’ve been here two years in a row for a float trip. This place has the literal worst service I’ve ever seen. The waitress is miserable to talk with and they act like they don’t even want you there. They constantly mess up simple orders.
