Came here for an early lunch and was not disappointed. We decided to have the Sampler first and ended up ordering a plate of brisket and hot dog as well. The brisket Meat was good but perhaps missing a bit of flavour. Good spot for a quick bite.

Big John’s Texas Barbecue is definitely a must-visit for BBQ lovers. The sampler platter is the perfect way to try out a variety of their meats, which were all real smoked and absolutely delicious. The chopped beef brisket was tender and full of flavor, the pulled pork was juicy and flavorful, the spicy link sausage had a great kick, and the pork ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender.

Was recommended by locals to go eat here, and we were not disappointed. My friend was impressed with the fluffiness of the bun and crunchiness of the coleslaw. I had the BBQ sampler and it gave me a good sense of their food. Service was fast as each person has their own job (host, server, water, etc.) They had live music when we went around dinner time. Food came out quickly and they have large picnic tables to share seating and everyone around us was nice. I would definitely eat here again.

Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! Stop and dine in. The sweet tea just flows, the servers come over and top it off. The portions are plenty but leave room for dessert! The ice cream selection is vast for a bbq joint. Enjoy!

We got the sampler and some nachos so that we could try a bit of everything. Unfortunately they were out of chicken but we tried everything else. The beef and pork were tender and smokey. The sausage was good, firm like a polish sausage with a Texas flavor. The ribs were good but not the best I’ve had. We wrapped it all up with peach cobbler a la mode and we highly recommend!

I’m from Texas and this place is legit! They’ve got smokers cooking up some great meats! We went with a sampler plate and a half rack of ribs. Ribs were super flavorful and fall off the bone tender. Definitely my fave but the brisket and sausage were also really tasty! Desserts were also really good – had a peach cobbler and brownie. Both excellent!

Great atmosphere after a long hot day on the lake. The patio and live music are fun. The staff seems completely overwhelmed and are just trying to keep up so expect some delays. The BBQ is tasty but feels a bit overpriced. You’re paying for the atmosphere and they’re the only game in town.

This was fine BBQ at this place. We definitely didn’t know what to expect, we read some reviews and decided to try it. We were surprised by it, it was great tasting. The prices were a little steep for a lunch but it was good, if you are wanting some BBQ in page, I think this is the place to go!
