I have eaten here 3 times. It’s a nice place, nice music and nice people. My suggestions are..if you dont care for shrimp or fish fried in corn meal, try something else. I’m not too big on cornmeal, especially if its crispy. The 3rd time I got the seafood bisque and it was good. The sweet tea is good too. If I’m back in the area I will try it again, just nothing fried.

The atmosphere was a welcome home-y type feel, and the staff was warm and friendly. We had a group of 8 and we all tried a variety of dishes. The fried fish and shrimp were very good, you could tell everything was fried right when ordered. The seafood bisque was good, but a bit oily. We were disappointed to discover they were out of Gumbo today. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here and will return next time we are passing through to try the Gumbo!

Service was good when we arrived. We were seated immediately and our order was taken. The onion rings appetizer came out quickly and they were definitely made in house. Fresh onions and hand battered, nicely seasoned. Huge portion. The only problem was the dipping sauce.. it was sour and gooey. I almost gagged and had to spit it out. Fortunately the onion rings were not in need of sauce. Our entrees arrived before we could get even halfway through the onion rings. But that was a good thing otherwise we would have been too full to eat. The chicken fried steak was big and cooked perfectly, nice and crispy, with a nice white gravy. The mashed potatoes and green beans were good, but nothing to write home about. The bread, however, was a disaster. I don’t know if it had been microwaved, or what, but I could not even bite through it. I put it aside immediately. Once we finished our meal it took a little while to get our server back to the table to bring a takeout box for the onion rings. We’ll be back but I’ll be cautious about tasting the onion ring sauce and bread.

Been here often. Authentic fresh food. This is not fast food but your food comes out very quickly and fresh every single time. I have never had a bad dish. Everything is flavorful pricing is on point service is friendly and works hard to ensure you enjoy your visit. 10/10 would recommend.

They don’t serve gumbo, even though that’s their “famous” dish that they have on the menu.

The Cajun food was as authentic and delicious as it gets. This place is the real deal. We almost drove off because the outside looked like an old abandoned building. I’m sure glad we didn’t. If you are ever in the area this place is a must.

Good food and service. I had the all you can eat catfish. It was really good. The fillets were nice and thick without being saturated with grease. I wish I knew how to get fish to cook like that at home. Tasted fresh too. It filled me up.

They were out of jambalaya, no special available, had to settle for oyster platter. What a mistake! Corn meal breading was overcooked and couldn’t taste the oysters. after a couple, I started taking the breading apart to look at the oyster – no oyster! Over half of them had no oyster that I could find. I
