Upon entering you are greeted with a smile and you can feel the genuineness of Big Mama. Oh yes, she is real and is there. Our food was cooked to order. Brought to our table with friendliness that you only get from a small town restaurant. The decor was reminiscent of my childhood. Clean, bright, and inviting. And on this 107 degree heat index. Wonderfully comfortable.

Was on a fishing day trip and on the way home we were looking for some place to get something to eat and found Big Mamas. Two ladies were standing outside and we inquired about the food not realizing we were speaking to Big Mama and they had just closed. Let me tell you they opened back up for us and we were not disappointed. My husband who is a bit of a critic was impressed with the kindness and the food. We were going through town and found this gem. There’s really nothing around but beats fast food. My grandma and I got the catfish dinner with some mash potatoes and green beans. Omg the catfish was so good. Now I gps this so I’m going to figure out how to come here again lol. Awesome little place
