Great food. A little pricey but worth it. The most tender brisket I have EVER had. Nice flavor was surprised by the fat rim bc normally that is removed but after tasting it now know its definitely best kept on during smoking. Definitely going back!!!

Brisket potatoes are my life! Marv has won me over. I will say however since corona they seem to be skimping on the meat, cheese and bacon bits. Hopefully it’s just the times and will go back to normal soon. Even with the change, hands down best bbq around! Did I mention the sauce… OMG!!!

Loved the special … a pulled pork sandwich and the homey feel of the restaurant. The server was excellent and never hurried us along, just went with the flow of two women spending more time talking than eating … we appreciated them! We sat there for several hours and the whole time they were helpful and friendly. It’s a good place, especially with a lunch special!

I loved my visit to Big Marv’s. I heard people talk about it, so I had to check it out. The brisket sandwich was really good with the brisket drippings. I also enjoyed the banana pudding. The lady who was serving was nice and really helpful. I’ll definitely be back.

big Marv’s has very good tasting food the fried okra was excellent the brisket was very tender but the fat was not cooked down completely. The beans were good and their mayonnaise coleslaw was excellent. very good service and nice atmosphere inside the restaurant although it appeared to be mostly take out. I only had the brisket so I do intend to go back and try the ribs. Not expensive and good portions make big Marv’s a place to try. oddly the brisket was served with an oz you instead of a barbecue sauce which was not bad but it was different.
