I’ve had this on my list to try for ages and I’m glad we finally made it. There is a reason it is rated well – it is delicious. I had an Italian on a semolina sub roll (pictured) and my husband had salami and swiss. The bread (very important) was fantastic and the meat tasty and quite a bit. Husband said it’s probably the best sandwich he’s had in ages. The staff was friendly and pleasant. Definitely putting this on the return again list!

Red Store was and always will be one of my favorite lunch spots ever. Unfortunately, they seemed to have closed and faded into the most this week with no explanation. There isn’t a place around here that can rival Red Store’s sandwiches. The Cousin Vinny was legendary and even basic menu items like the Turkey sub were phenomenal.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon, and got the Big Michelle sandwich (with fried eggplant, fresh mozzarella, avocado, tomato, roasted red pepper, and arugula). I really like the combination and think everything matches so well together; normally I would order meat based sandwiches at a deli but this one is really tasty, the eggplant has good flavor and gives the sandwich great texture. The staff at the place is very friendly and there is a cute seating area. The sandwich is really fulfilling.

Was very excited to try this place. First impression was good. I like the country atmosphere and the people were very friendly and helped you with the menu if you needed it. I got the hook sandwich which had fried eggplant and roast beef with fresh mozzarella and gravy. It was good but I think there was too much fried eggplant and I didn’t find it to be a roast beef. It was more of a cheesesteak and would like to have had more cheese. I will probably go back and try something else. Little heads it is a little overpriced in my opinion.

Over the top amazing. Chef mike absolutely nails what delis in NJ are now supposed to be. Flavors and execution are spot on. Highly recommend My Cousin Vinny, House Roast Beef, Nashville Hot Chicken, and the Cuban. You cant go wrong with any option on the menu. Was a fan of the store when Pat ran it for many years. Big Mike takes it to the next level. A must try for sure!

I have visited here several times over the last few years and I’ve always had a great sandwich. On my most recent visit I had Mike’s version of the classic turkey club. The bacon, turkey, and tomatoes were all excellent. What put this sandwich in a class of it’s own was the slice of cheddar cheese. Only Big Mike’s would have thought of this.
