I was introduced to this place at Earth Day celebration for another business located down the street from their restaurant. I was so impressed with their food truck and awesome BBQ that I had to stop by their restaurant so I can pin it on my list of favorite BBQ places. The brisket is really tender and their homemade BBQ baked beans and slaw were over the top! Can’t wait to visit again.

Got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of mac n cheese. A lot of meat of the sandwich and mac had a cajun bite to it. Loved all the sauces (put them all on my sandwich!)especially the mustard one and the Arizona sweet heat with prickly pear & jalapeno.

A gem that’s hidden within an industrial area. I decided on the Trinity plate because it was my first time and didn’t know “what’s good”. The meat was fantastic, you can choose what type of sauce you want. I was disappointed with the cornbread, it wasn’t bad, but it was kind of bland and boring. Definitely use the honey and butter they give you.

In a quaint location with amazing food! We waited to go on sat because they only serve beef ribs then, and as first time guest they did not disappoint. Tender, seasoned, and well cooked. I ordered pork ribs, bbq beans, and loaded mash potatoes AMAZING. Can we discuss the bbq house made sauce? It was as if God dipped his finger in it!! We will be back several more times too full to get the smoked pie and pasta salad, but just wait!!

This place serves amazing BBQ. The turkey breast was my favorite because of how succulent, juicy, and full of flavor it was. The plates are heaping with food, and the service was phenomenal. If it looks closed, it’s probably not. Seating is just limited with 2 tables inside and more under the cover parking outside.

Came in today just as they opened. Girl at the counter was super helpful, even let us try an item or 2 before we ordered. I got the Trinity and added a sausage. Brisket was really good, probably the best I’ve had around, and the sausage was great as well. Will definitely recommend it to anyone!

Just ordered the small family pack. Brisket was the driest brisket I’ve ever had. Pork was without flavor and chicken tasted like it had been sitting for days. $100 family pack and not ANY BBQ sauce to put some moisture back into this dry flavorless meat. No bread included with this package either. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars was because they managed to make good mashed potatoes. Looks like Tom’s BBQ will be getting my business from now on. Soooo disappointed that I wasted $100. Maybe my dogs will like it.

Big Nate’s is one of the best BBQ spots in Arizona. I have been to basically everything and this place beats them all with the exception of one place I adore, won’t mention their name. The food at big Nate’s is always on point with the brisket being my favorite dish. All sides are super bomb as well! Sometimes the brisket can be on the dryer side but still has a ton of flavor and is still very tasty.
