My husband has been wanting to go to a Jamaican restaurant, so over break we came here. I ordered jerk chicken and my husband ordered curry goat. I had oxtail gravy on the side with rice and beans and cabbage. Plaintains on the side. Everything was delicious.

Top notch, REAL Jamaican restaurant! It’s hard to find authentic Jamaican food but this place never disappoints. Great location & easy to find. They have a broad menu including dessert. Ice cream & a delicious cheese cake. My personal favorite is the jerk chicken pasta. Will be back soon!!!

We were in search of some Caribbean food while visiting Pompano Beach. When we randomly noticed this Jamaican restaurant, we had to visit. We were in search of patties; however, they didn’t have any so we stayed for lunch and had the jerk chicken, peas and rice, cabbage, etc. instead. Everything was delicious and well-seasoned. No complaints.

Booked them for catering for my event, was assured twice they can do the job, therefore I paid for the service upfront in advance as requested for the owner to inform me literally a week prior to my event they can’t do the catering anymore. There was no apology, regard or explanation why the job couldn’t be done anymore for canceling the catering on such short notice. Not reliable and professional when it comes to customer service, wouldn’t recommend for catering. Find somewhere else.

My husband is Jamaican, and he rated the brown stew snapper as 2 stars. It was basically escovitch fish that they refried and added a lot of ketchup as sauce. I had the jerk chicken, it was completely dried out and hard. The flavor was ok, the sauce was decent, but it was 130 in the afternoon so lunch was still going on, so I would think they’d have fresh chicken. Not a fan.
