Literally fall off the bone ribs! Very friendly service. Received our food promptly. Large ribs, huge bbq beef sandwich, great onion rings! Old home town atmosphere. You get more than enough for the pricing! This is going to be our must have place when we’re in KC. Lovely place, just relax and enjoy the food! Great find!

This is our favorite place to get bbq in KC. The baked beans are the best baked beans we’ve ever had and negative reviews regardless – if it’s from a can what can was it then? It’s always a treat eating and here and something we always look forward to. I look forward to eating here again in the future!

Visited 06APR2023 – First time visiting. Service was great! Although there is a large wood pile out back none of the food had a smokey flavor. Meats tasted like they were baked, not smoked. Also, the sauce was very tomato tasting. To me this type of sauce is a step above catchup. The portions were large and the price was reasonable.

We stopped here on our vacation and it didn’t disappoint! The ribs were fantastic! The sauce had a tiny bit of a kick and the ribs fell off the bone. The baked beans were some of the best I have ever had. We tried the fried pickles and they were so good! It’s a nice, clean, and friendly atmosphere. A great mom and pop place to taste some real bbq made with love! We chatted with the friendly owners while we dined. They were they nicest people!

Big Q has delicious meaty & juicy ribs. Their potato salad, beans, and fried mushrooms are some of our favorite sides. My husband is especially fond of their turkey sandwich.

Stopped in to see a nearly empty restaurant. When seeing that I immediately begin to question going but we love our barbecue so we said we would give it shot. Have to say I was not disappointed at all. The burnt ends original sauce wasn’t great but the sweet sauce they gave me to try with it put them over the top. They were tender and fell apart just like they should. Sweet potato fries were a little over cooked but still good. The pulled pork was amazing but next time I would ask them to not drown the meat in sauce. Onion rings were good, and the corn nuggets were tasty. The service was over the top professional and will be going back for sure. Would like to see some juice options for the kids.
