Some place close to celebrate 62nd anniversary ❤️. Group of people were there and I asked a sweet lady to take our picture. She told her group and one of the men put $60.00 on the table . So sweet . He would not take it back.

Stopped in for lunch while in the area for work and was pleasantly surprised! The cheeseburger was delicious and my companion had the BBQ which also tasted good. The service was OUTSTANDING!!! Hands down the best service I’ve received in awhile. If you’re in the area you should definitely stop in and eat, you won’t be disappointed.

We come here on a regular basis as the food is decent and there are not a ton of options close by. Today we went in and the waitress took forever to come out. We were the only people in the restaurant. She brings the menus and sets them on another table as she can she puts is dirty. She then just disappears. I clean the table and we wait and wait. We then see her just standing around talking with another waitress, who also saw us sitting there. Neither waitress came back to our table. We left. Very disrespectful and rude. I guess good business isn’t important. Not to mention the large tip we always leave. Highly doubt we will be back. Unfortunate for Big Red’s as we bring a lot of business to this place. If you are looking for incredibly slow and unfriendly service and mediocre food, this is your dive!

First time dinning here. I always like to stop at places that are local. So while on a weekend get away me and my wife chose to eat here because of the all you can eat ribs on Saturday they also have all you can eat specials on every other day of the week too. The ribs weren’t the best they were kind of hit-and-miss but definitely didn’t hate them and the house barbecue sauce wasn’t bad either. The coleslaw and baked beans were good as well.

Some of the best catfish I have ever had! I don’t know where they get their catfish….but those fish are huge! I’m a big guy and I can only eat one filled with the sides because they are so large! It is a classic mom and pop diner and the staff is really friendly.

The food was the worst we have ever got the burger was not fully cooked and the order was not even close to being right we ordered bacon on the burger got one tiny strip of bacon this place use to be good food but the last few times it has gotten worse and worse I wouldn’t ever eat there food again horrible

Country cooking. Delicious white gravy. Solid breakfast offerings, too. $8 – $16 per plate. You get a good amount of food for less than $10. Pies are delicious. Service is always great. Food comes fast. Lots of football memorabilia in the decor, if the name didn’t tip you off.

Big Red is a staple of this community. It is a must when in the area. I remember coming here over 20 years ago and the food is just as good, if not better! All home-made favorites, including pies! Our waitress, Bonnie, was so gracious and courteous. She brought our food out quickly and kept checking on us throughout or meal. They start with fresh bread and the any appetizers and so on. I don’t give 5 stars on my reviews, but this place is an exception, for the food & the service, and the long positive history this place has with the surrounding community.
