We stopped here on a whim a couple weeks ago traveling to Ohio. The food and service was fantastic. I ordered to loaded cowboy potato with a side of cornbread, husband had the pulled pork with a side of baked beans and our teenage son had the brisket grilled cheese with a side of mac n cheese. We can definitely say it is some of the best bbq we’ve ever had. Our son loved it so much he asked that we stop on the way back home, and we did. Wish we could find BBQ like this in Northern Virginia!!

I follow Discover the Burgh on FB and they recommended this place for good BBQ. The next time I was in Pittsburgh, my family and I decided to give this place a try. It did not disappoint. This was definitely some of the best BBQ we had ever had. The meats were flavorful, well seasoned, tender, and juicy. We got the Family Platter, which comes with 1/4 lb of all the smoked meats and two sides. For our sides, we chose the mac and cheese and the cornbread. Both were amazing. I highly recommend coming here for a meal and when you come getting the Family Platter, so that you can try all their smoked meats. Our favorite meat was the burnt ends. They were delicious.

Fantastic BBQ, great service, amazing experience. This is going to be my new go-to in Monroeville. The BBQ is absolutely perfect and the potatoes are delicious! Very cool dining area with TVs and big tables with a good selection of very flavorful BBQ sauces. Highly recommend.

Came here with several friends after skiing at Boyce park. This was a great meal after skiing and I ordered the brisket grilled cheese sandwich, 1/2 a rack of bbq ribs, Mac and cheese and cornbread. The brisket grilled cheese and the ribs were great. The meat was extremely tender and Big Rigs had house sauces which I liked a lot. They also offered a large assortment of other hot sauces including Carolina reaper. Definitely recommend trying Big Rigs if you’re in the are!

Don’t let the location fool you, this is a great little bbq joint tucked into a plaza. We had ribs, brisket, greens cornbread and mac n’ cheese. The food was all good, but the meats were a little on the cold side. That could have been because of the obnoxiously cold day we were having. Service was quick and friendly. Delicious BBQ sauces. Do recommend

I’ve been trying to find a delicious BBQ spot in Pittsburgh for quite a while, and it’s been unsuccessful thus far. After trying Big Rig’s, I can finally say there is an amazing BBQ restaurant in the Steel City! This was seriously delicious food. I ordered the cornbread, baked beans, BBQ pulled pork with sweet sauce, and a cookie.

First time coming here & definitely not my last. I am a picky eater & this place I am loving! Everything was just the way I like it!! The moment you walk in, you are greeted & with a smile. This was our first time there & they were patient as I looked at the menu. You want the feel & taste of southern home cooking..this is your spot!!

My husband and I got the pork belly burnt ends and brisket with a side of Mac and cheese and corn bread. Among all of this, the Mac and cheese was the weakest but that doesn’t mean much given that it was still amazing. The corn bread was incredibly moist and flavorful. The burnt ends were new to me but I loved them. Crispy on the outside with some juiciness on the inside and the brisket was mouth watering. I was sad when we are everything but my goodness… It was so filling so I didn’t need more.

We had glazed pork belly burnt ends, Nashville hot chicken sandwich, braised cabbage, Mac n cheese, collards, pit beans, and cornbread. It was our 1st time hereand we liked the overall vibe and music. The food was very good but it was limited to a small selection due to it was just me and my wife. We will be back to try more of the menu!!

Wow, some of the best bbq I have ever had! Got the turkey club sandwich, easily the best turkey I’ve had in my life, tasted so good I didn’t even have to use the sauce (which was also so good). Employees were really nice and food came out quick. Twice fried potatoes also excellent. Great prices compared to others. Already can’t wait to come back!
