This place has great food. I really enjoy their biscuits and gravy skillet. I get it with poached eggs and pancakes. You can get toast instead of pancakes and different style eggs. Those are just my preferences. Very filling and so yummy. I’ve also got some veggie quesadillas with chicken noodle soup from there. I bought that on the same visit, but I ate them the next day and they were yummy as well. I highly recommend going here for food.

Hometown restaurant with no frills service. Portions are large enough to take half home and prices are the same as restaurants that give much smaller portions. Good selection and you can get lunch selections any time.

With a small town feel, Big Rock Cafe brought big servings. For only $10 I got a full order of biscuits and gravy along with a side of sausage links. The service was fast and friendly and I did not have to wait to long after putting in my order. If I find myself in Big Rock again, this is the place to eat!

Awful food. Terribly bland and expensive. Poor selection. My wife had the corned beef skillet that tasted like minced tuna. The pancakes were dry. Coffee was worse than normal “diner” coffee. Half an hour later, we all feel like garbage. Stomach aches, bloated, tired.

We tried skirt steak with eggs also biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns and sausage patties everything was taste especially the biscuits and gravy well worth it the server was friendly , and the price ain’t bad either. The restaurant itself was dated but didn’t bother me much the only thing was the steak was just a bit chewy in parts but it wont stop me from trying this place again in the future.

Great omelette and my wife’s corn beef hash skillet was particularly good. The service was excellent. We’re very happy and lucky to have such a nice local breakfast spot. The competition from the new cafe in Sugar Grove has been rough I would assume. They are both nice, with nice employees and good food. I try to frequent both.

My Wife and I came up from Texas to visit family for the New Year. My Dad recommended the family come and try this place for Breakfast. Best Breakfast I have ever had no lie. First off we came in with a party of 8. The owners had no problem moving tables together. Very friendly and polite staff. The atmosphere was peaceful and felt very home like. The portions are very big and the menu prices are the best prices you will see around town. We will be back for sure. If you want really really really great food and good portion size for the best prices, this is the place I would recommend a million times over.
