The food was delicious! Recommend trying the pioneer and ranger! Other than the food, the owner was very funny and nice, and the other customers we’re also nice! I highly recommend this place!

SKIP the routine burger and fries!!!! And GO HERE!!! Everything is from scratch and these potato bowls loaded with everything from rosemary chicken to smoked brisket and melted cheese are the best food I’ve had on the trip!!!

In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face, is that in the grand scheme of things, the average baked potato is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so. But there are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the *new*. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations. The new needs friends. Last night, I experienced something new: an extraordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the potato and its baker have challenged my preconceptions about baked potato’s is a gross understatement. They have rocked me to my core. In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for the simple baked potato. But I realize, only now do I truly understand. Not every potato can become a great baked potato; but a great baked potato *can* come from *anywhere*. It is difficult to imagine a kinder and more passionate genius than the owner, who is, in this critic’s opinion, nothing less than the finest chef in Yellowstone. I will be returning to Big Sky Baked and Loaded soon, hungry for more.

This was our favorite meal during our 4 days in Gardiner and we tried about everything. The potatoes are huge and delicious!! The owner was excited to share his creations with us which was awesome. We had the pulled pork and chicken which were both amazing.

This place rocks. Getting tired of burger joints on our Yellowstone trip and this place delivers. I got the pioneer and husband got the cowboy and I can’t decide which one is better, both with delicious fork-tender meat. Big portions, one would easily feed two people without feeling stuffed. So yummy I hate half before I thought to take a pic

This place was sooo great! The food was delicious, clearly made from high quality ingredients, and the gentleman who ran the truck was so nice and personable! Very highly recommend to anyone finding themselves in Gardiner. My husband and I are vegetarian and this place had great options for us and for meat lovers. Will definitely go back next time we’re in the area 🙂

We read the reviews and decided it was worth checking out. We were not disappointed at all. The food was great and the gentleman running his food truck was the most friendly guy I have met. Don’t pass up this place.

So good and such a nice man working there!! He told us food was locally sourced and about himself and his cooking. We visited in gardiner and i was so happy to find a vegetarian option since there’s not too many options in town. The food was amazing and a good portion as well. If he came to Texas I would for sure see him!!
