Just stopped at Big Star Pizza for a late dinner. We got there around 8 and even though it was late they were super friendly and welcoming. We had New York style cheese pizza, Greek salad and cheese garlic bread. Everything was really tasty. Relaxed and clean dining area. We are not from the area but if we were this would be a regular place for us.

This shop, because of the family who takes care of everyone, makes it one of a kind. It’s darn near impossible anymore to find a slice shop outside of Sbarro at a mall, so I think that gives it an edge over every other pizza shop. Each and every New York-style pizza is hand tossed before your eyes, literally in front of you. The ingredients are top notch, a fantastic mix of American and traditional Italian options. I have been going here for years, often making the trip from my home in North Canton because incredible things are hard to come by – we are lucky enough to have such a thing in Copley, Ohio. Give it a shot, and you’ll be coming back to this family restaurant every time, I promise.
