Was a solid sub, I had a cheesesteak with onion and peppers that was good. Honestly it was nothing out of this world but it was good and a decent size. They only accept cash so make sure to stop at the ATM before stopping. I would recommend this spot if you are in area’s because it still might be the best in town.

I like food — listen to me… I’m not one to sing praises, but all sub shops are not created equal. I admit, a nice subway or wawa sub can be good, but I instantly recognized and tasted the difference when I bit into a #20 half. Fresh meats carved in front of you, fresh cheeses carved in front of you, and fresh bread make a difference. Dont expect some fancy place with sparkling lights, but do expect a delicious and high quality sandwich for around the same as any box fast food spot. This place seems to be as much history as it is delicious as well. I’ll be back… Go see what people have been talking about …

This place is amazing. My mother is from Kearny and whenever we go back to visit, it’s our first stop. They slice the cold cuts as they make the sandwich. I recommend The turkey, pastrami and Swiss or the roast beef. Unless you like salty rubbery roast beef.
